After falling 99-93 to the Chicago Bulls last night, the Cleveland Cavaliers finish March with a 6-10 record. Incredibly, it’s the first time in more than 13 years that LeBron James has lost double-digit games in a single month.
LeBron James lost 10 games in a month for the 2nd time ever
James hasn’t lost double-digit games in a month in more than 13 years.

The loss sinks Cleveland to 47-27, still a half game behind the Boston Celtics for the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference, after the Celtics caught them for the first time all season to begin the week.
“We’re just in a bad spot right now. Not disappointed with the effort. We’re just in a bad spot,” James told ESPN. “We’re going to try to figure it out. ... I think the effort was there. I just don’t think the concentration for as close to 48 minutes is there yet. Which is unfortunate.”
Cleveland has eight games remaining, including a road matchup against the Celtics in Boston, which could potentially determine who takes the top seed. The Cavaliers are up 2-1 in the season series, so they would hold the head-to-head tiebreaker if they won that game.
The last time James lost at least 10 times in a month was November 2003, his first month in the league. Cleveland lost 11 times that month.
With only six wins, the Cavaliers finish March with fewer wins than the league’s worst team, the Brooklyn Nets, who have seven. They also record their fourth three-game losing streak, which equals the previous two seasons combined:
James actually played well in March as an individual, but it was by far his worst month as a professional since the first full one he played so many years ago.
