Receiver Robert Woods signed with the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday, on a deal worth $39 million over five years with $15 million guaranteed, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Woods is returning to the Los Angeles area, where he grew up and played college football for USC.

The Bills drafted Woods in the second round of the 2013 draft. He started alongside Sammy Watkins for much of his Bills career, and was one of the teams top options at receiver since he was drafted.

He had his best season in 2014, with Kyle Orton throwing to him. He caught 65 passes for just under 700 yards and five touchdowns, all career highs. He was having an impressive 2016 campaign, until his season was derailed by a knee injury suffered against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Woods joins former teammate Marquise Goodwin, who signed with the 49ers yesterday, as fellow Bills moving to the NFC West. He joins a Rams offense that looked lost for much of 2016. He’ll most likely be the primary target for Jared Goff in 2017 as they attempt to rebuild around the sophomore quarterback.
