The 2017 WNBA Draft will be held on Thursday night in New York, with the San Antonio Stars on the clock with the first overall pick.

Television coverage of the draft will begin with the first round on ESPN2 beginning at 7 p.m. ET, then will shift to ESPNU for the second and third rounds. Online streaming of the draft will be available through WatchESPN.

Washington star guard Kelsey Plum, the NCAA’s all-time leading scorer who averaged 31.7 points per game this year as a senior, is expected to be the top pick on Thursday.

“Whether that’s No. 1, 3, 5, or 7, it really doesn’t matter to me. I’m just into the fit and the opportunity is more important to me,” Plum told the Seattle Times on Tuesday. “Wherever I go, I’m all about creating a good locker room and being a great teammate, and doing whatever I can to win basketball games.”

The Stars also own the fifth pick in the draft.

The Dallas Wings will be busy early on Thursday, with the third and fourth picks in the draft, the latter acquired in a trade with the Los Angeles Sparks in February. The Wings also own the No. 10 selection, giving them three of the first 10 picks in the draft.

The Seattle Storm held the No. 1 pick in each of the last two drafts, and both selections — Jewell Loyd in 2015, and Breanna Stewart in 2016 — won WNBA Rookie of the Year honors.
