Most baseball brawls don’t amount to much. But on Saturday between the Minnesota Twins and Detroit Tigers, this one involved a punch thrown by Miguel Sano.

Sano started at first base for the Twins on Saturday, and in the fifth inning Tigers starter Matthew Boyd threw a pitch behind him.
As tempers flared and benches cleared, Sano was restrained by home plate umpire Jordan Baker and Tigers catcher James McCann. McCann and Sano said something to each other, and as McCann put his glove in Sano’s face, Sano threw a punch at McCann.
Sano and Boyd were the only players ejected after the fracas.
