LaMarcus Aldridge isn’t a high-flyer by any means. But in the third quarter of the San Antonio Spurs’ Game 3 showdown against the Memphis Grizzlies, the skilled power forward sure looked like one.

Aldridge smashed a tomahawk jam all over JaMychal Green.
In a rare instance, Aldridge brought the ball up court before throwing down a vicious, one-handed tomahawk all over JaMychal Green’s face. The poster dunk was part of a Spurs’ rally that tied the game at 64.
Aldridge needed that dunk to get himself going. He’s currently got only nine points on four-of-nine shooting, and the Spurs will need him to step it up as they enter the fourth quarter down three.
The Spurs won Games 1 and 2 of the series at home before forfeiting Game 3 in Memphis. The Grizzlies have held control of Game 4 much of the night, but San Antonio has fought back to make it interesting here entering the fourth.
We’ll see if LaMarcus can get it going down the stretch, but the poster dunk was a good start.
