The Solid Verbal: We don’t know anything about the 2017 NFL draft
But we’re smart enough to find someone who does.

* * *
With the 2017 NFL draft quickly approaching, we recruited an expert in NBC Sports/Rotoworld’s Josh Norris to join the show to answer all of our questions in order to quickly get up to at least a respectful level of speed. We wanted to know the following:
• What separates Mitchell Trubisky, DeShone Kizer, Deshaun Watson, and Patrick Mahomes II?
• Which college players do college fans love far more than NFL types and vice versa?
• Who are some RBs and WRs who won’t get taken in the first round, but have very similar talent to players like Mike Williams, Leonard Fournette, or Christian McCaffrey?
• How does the NFL evaluate players, like Ohio State’s Malik Hooker or Utah’s Garett Bolles, who’ve only started for a major program for a year, and thus don’t have a ton of tape?
• Has offensive line become easier to evaluate, or is 2017’s crop of tackles particularly unimpressive beyond the top two or three?
• Who are some sleepers to pay attention to in the later rounds?
• Which Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle is most draft ready with regard to both his physical skills and demeanor?
... and much more
