The Kansas City Chiefs have traded up to the No. 10 pick in the draft, in a swap with the Buffalo Bills. Previously, the Chiefs had the No. 27 pick in the draft. They selected Texas Tech quarterback Patrick Mahomes with the pick.

The Chiefs get in on the trading going on Thursday night.


ESPN’s Field Yates reported that the Chiefs added a third-round pick in the 2017 NFL draft, (No. 91) as well as a 2018 first-round pick to the Bills.
Mahomes shot up draft boards as the draft became closer and closer. The former Texas Tech quarterback will be groomed to replace incumbent quarterback Alex Smith.
