Tennessee Titans wide receiver Tajae Sharpe and offensive lineman Sebastian Tretola are being sued for $500,000 following an altercation at a bar, according to Nashville’s Fox 17. The man who filed the lawsuit says Sharpe assaulted him because of an argument about the 2017 NFL draft, and Tretola served as a lookout.

The altercation took place at a bar in Nashville, and Tajae Sharpe and Sebastian Tretola are being sued for $500,000 in damages.

The Titans provided a statement to Fox 17 confirming that they are aware of the lawsuit.
The civil complaint filed by Dante Satterfield alleges that the three men had a conversation inside a bar called Tin Roof about the Titans’ decision to draft wide receiver Corey Davis in the first round of the 2017 draft. Satterfield said the addition of Davis would lead to fewer snaps for Sharpe, and Sharpe did not appreciate it.
According to the complaint, Sharpe and Tretola asked Satterfield to step outside the bar, and Satterfield “believed the group was headed outside for lawful purposes.” Sharpe allegedly proceeded to physically assault Satterfield, leaving him unconscious.
The lawsuit states that Satterfield suffered a concussion, facial fractures and bruising, a perforated eardrum, and other injuries. He is seeking $500,000 in damages for assault and battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and civil conspiracy.
Sharpe’s agent, Blaine Roche, told Fox 17 that the claims against his client are “false and ridiculous.”
”Unfortunately this is a classic shakedown attempt,” Roche said. “Tajae categorically denies any involvement whatsoever and looks forward to vindicating his name and focusing on what matters most — football.”
Sharpe was selected by the Titans in the fifth round of the 2016 draft. He had 41 catches for 522 yards and two touchdowns in his rookie season. Tretola was a sixth round pick for the Titans last year, and played in one game for Tennessee last season.
