Avery Bradley locked up Kyrie Irving on 1 play, at least!

It didn’t help him much the rest of the game on Kyrie Irving, but this was cool!

Avery Bradley doesn’t care who you are. He’s gonna lock you up, and there’s not much you can do about it.

Well, for one play at least. The rest of the game ended more like this. But let’s remember that awesome one play!

Bradley proved as much in the second quarter of Game 4 against the Cleveland Cavaliers, when a stringent off-ball effort denied Kyrie Irving the ball. He then switched onto Deron Williams, pressuring the veteran guard into throwing an errant pass recovered by the Boston Celtics.

Defensive plays like these are nothing new for Bradley, who considers himself the best on-ball defender in the NBA. He’s locked up Irving in the past, as well as Damian Lillard and other premier guards the league has to offer.

He’s not just a one-dimensional player, either. Bradley finished with 19 points, albeit on 19 shot attempts, in Game 4 after drilling the game-winner in Game 3. But even Bradley couldn’t do anything about Irving’s incredible shot making the rest of the game.

At least Bradley locked him up this one time!
