The 2017 America’s Cup continues with the qualifying round on Wednesday. It’s the biggest race in sport of yachting and has been going on since all the way back in 1851. Qualifiers have been underway for a few days and will wrap up on June 3.

The America’s Cup qualifying round continues on Wednesday, and here’s all you need to know to watch.


The action Wednesday will begin at 1 p.m. ET and will be broadcast by NBCSN in the United States at that time. There will also be a live stream online beginning at the same time via NBC Sports.
Oracle Team USA and Emirates Team New Zealand both have five wins and one loss in the qualifying round. No other team has more than two wins. Oracle Team USA, however, gets a bonus point for its finish in the 2015-16 America’s Cup World Series.
Great Britain gets two bonus points for its finish in the same series. Following three races on Tuesday, Land Rover BAR Great Britain has four total points in third, New Zealand has five total points in second, and the United States has six total points in first.
On Tuesday, New Zealand earned a win over Artemis Racing, which also lost to Great Britain on that day. Team USA took down Groupama Team France in the other race on Tuesday.
