Lions players take team chemistry to a new level with group dentistry

Everything is more fun with a friend, except maybe getting your wisdom teeth out.

Getting your wisdom teeth removed isn’t fun. But everything’s better when you do it with a friend. That’s what Detroit Lions kicker Matt Prater and punter Sam Martin did.

Specialists like Prater and Martin often have a unique bond. It’s too bad that Lions long snapper Don Muhlbach didn’t need to have his wisdom teeth removed, too, because then all of the team’s key special teams players could have experienced this together.

OTAs and minicamp are over, and the typical recovery time for wisdom teeth extraction is around three to four days. Prater and Martin will be fully recovered and ready to go for training camp.
