LaVar Ball has been pretty outspoken so far during the NBA draft. He claimed that Zeus and Jesus told him that the Los Angels Lakers would take his son, Lonzo. Then, he guaranteed Lonzo would take the Lakers to the playoffs his first year.
Joel Embiid tells Ben Simmons he needs to dunk on Lonzo Ball so LaVar ‘runs on the court’ to save him

The Philadelphia 76ers’ young stars, Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid, don’t seem too entertained with it all.
First, Simmons tweeted this:
Within six minutes, Embiid quote tweeted Simmons, with some more trash talk, in case Simmons wasn’t obvious enough.
Embiid is never shy about his thoughts, similar to LaVar. If the Lakers and Sixers end up finding success at the same time, the battles on the court will be fun. But there could also be some great verbal jabs in the future.
LaVar has said that he could beat Michael Jordan one-on-one and that Lonzo was better than Steph Curry, among other things.
It’s a safe bet that we could hear a rebuttal from LaVar.
