Kawhi Leonard gets buckets. But he’s also revered as the best defender in the league. This brings up a hypothetical question posed in a new Jordan Brand commercial:
This funny Jordan Brand commercial asks if Kawhi Leonard could score on himself
The world may never know.

Could Kawhi get buckets on Kawhi?
Leonard’s new commercial debuted on Sunday with the tagline, “Kawhi Tho.” It features two young debaters going back and forth on the two dominant areas of Kawhi’s game.
Offensively, the Spurs’ All-Star is unmatched. The 25-year-old wing averaged 25.5 points per game on almost 50 percent shooting from the field. He became even more efficient in the playoffs, upping his averages to 27.7 points on 52.5 percent field-goal shooting and 45.5 percent on threes.
“The evidence substantiates a domination of all realms: Iso, post-ups, baskets off the dribble, fadeaway game-winners.
Contention 2: Check the points and then check the points again.
But Kawhi isn’t just known for his scoring. He’s a two-way player known, if anything, for his ability to lock up the best perimeter players in the league. He was able to shut down James Harden in San Antonio’s second-round series against the Rockets, and the Spurs were up 23 in the Western Conference Finals against the Warriors until Leonard went down with an ankle injury.
“Contrary to the offensive rhetoric, it’s the quiet storm’s lockdown D that towers supreme. He’s led the league in steals and defensive rating. The Claw is like a supernova black hole; a shutdown corner. Or a game-altering paradigm shift that silences an entire team.
An agreement was never reached. You can bicker back and forth about which facet of Leonard’s game is most impressive, but the Spurs’ star impacts the game on both ends of the floor
Which is most impressive to you?
