When he tried to hit Kevin Love with an alley-oop, Love was fouled, but his attempted pass to Love went in the basket anyway.
The foul happened as LeBron was in the motion of throwing the ball, so the basket counted. Points are points, no matter how pretty or ugly they may come.
Because LeBron shot the field goal, he gets the points for the bucket. However, Love went to the line because the foul was called on Ian Clark who was guarding him. It was a weird play, but a cool one.
It’s lucky shots just like that one that the Cavaliers will need in order to keep pace with the Warriors the rest of this series.
