The Bulls re-signed big man Cristiano Felicio, inking him to a four-year deal worth $32 million, according to The Vertical’s Shams Charania. The extension was one of the first moves after the clock struck 12:00 a.m. to start 2017-18 free agency.

Felicio averaged just under five points and five rebounds in 16 minutes per game last season.
The move to re-sign the 24-year-old Brazilian bruiser comes after Chicago shipped All-Star Jimmy Butler to Minnesota for Zach LaVine, Kris Dunn and the draft pick that became rookie stretch-4 Lauri Markkanen.
Felicio just finished his second year in the NBA and hasn’t put himself on an All-Star trajectory, but the 6’9 big man is a hustle and effort player who does the dirty work. And as the salary cap increases, he is on a manageable salary that averages about $8 million a year.
The Bulls also declined the team option on veteran point guard Rajon Rondo on Friday, making him an unrestricted free agent this summer.
