The Detroit Pistons have agreed to terms with free agent point guard Langston Galloway, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. The deal is three years worth $21 million.

Galloway played 55 games with the Pelicans, averaging 8.6 points off the bench last season. He was then traded to the Kings as part of the trade for DeMarcus Cousins, where his production was slashed, but he improved to a 47.5 percent 3-point shooter in 19 games in Sacramento.
The 25-year-old guard began his career in the NBA Development League before catching on with the New York Knicks after impressing during back-to-back 10-day contracts. In New York, he developed into a capable perimeter shooter and pesky perimeter defender. For a portion of the 2015-16 season, Galloway led the NBA in three-point percentage.
Galloway becomes the third point guard of a Pistons back court that also features Reggie Jackson and Ish Smith. Detroit has sought out trade partners for Jackson, who has ball-dominant tendencies, but the fully guaranteed three years at $51 million remaining on his contract has garnered little-to-no interest on the trade market.
