The Utah Jazz have found another wing player to replace Gordon Hayward. They’ve agreed to a two-year, $10.5 million deal with veteran Thabo Sefolosha, according to Yahoo! Sports’ Shams Charania.

The Jazz will likely sign Sefolosha with some of their remaining cap space that arrived once Hayward departed for Boston. He’ll provide insurance on the wing behind Rodney Hood and Joe Ingles, and could swing up to power forward in small lineups, especially if the Jazz elect to release Boris Diaw.

The 33-year-old Sefolosha averaged 7.2 points per game in just under 26 minutes for the Hawks last season. He is a shaky perimeter shooter, but makes up for it with terrific cutting and lockdown defense. However, he lost minutes late in the year as rookie Taurean Prince emerged, so he may already be on the decline.

Sefolosha and new Jazz coach Quin Snyder have a connection from their time when Snyder was an assistant in Atlanta.
