The X Games continued on Friday, as action sports athletes competed for medals in BMX, Skateboard and Moto X disciplines. Highlighting the action was the BMX Street Final and the Women’s Skateboard Street Final.
X Games 2017 results: Garrett Reynolds earns yet another gold medal in BMX Street
We’ve got results from the X Games on Friday, including medal winners for BMX Street and women’s Skateboard Street.


The BMX Street Final was ultimately won by Garrett Reynolds, whose run scored 89.33 for the gold medal. Devon Smillie took silver with a score of 87.00. The battle for bronze was much closer, with Simone Barraco taking it with a score of 85.66, just .33 points ahead of Dakota Roche in fourth.
Reynolds had won the competition eight of nine times it was contested, and as usual, his run on Friday was incredible. You can see his excellent run at ESPN here.
The Women’s Skateboard Street final wasn’t quite a blowout, but Aori Nishimura handily took the gold medal with a run that scored 87.66. Samarria Brevard was in second, earning the silver medal with a run of 84.66, a full there points behind Nishimura.
In third, Leticia Bufoni took the bronze with an 82.00 flat, two points ahead of Pamela Rosa in fourth.
Other events contested on the day included BMX Dirt, Skateboard Big Air and Men’s Skateboard Street Qualifiers. The BMX Big Air Final and Moto X Freestyle Final were also set for Friday evening, and we’ll update this post when the winners of those events are announced.
Saturday will see a full slate of events, highlighted by the Men’s BMX Park Final and Moto X Step Up Final, as well as the anticipated Moto X Best Trick Final.
