Kyle Korver and the Cleveland Cavaliers have agreed to a three-year deal worth $22 million, according to The Vertical’s Shams Charania. Korver was traded to the Cavaliers in January, and it looks like the 36-year-old will spend some of the final years of his career there.

The third year of the deal is only partially guaranteed, per ESPN’s Brian Windhorst.
Korver will go down as one of the league’s greatest shooters, already tied with Jamal Crawford and Vince Carter for fifth all-time in made threes. He hit nearly 49 percent of his threes last season in Cleveland during the regular season, although Korver notably missed one enormous three in Game 3 that could have won the game for the Cavaliers.
Still, Korver is a deadeye shooter, and the more of those players you put around LeBron James, the better. Cleveland is often at its best when James has the ball surrounded by four snipers, something that stretches out opposing defenses and makes it almost impossible to stop him from getting to the rim. While James’ future in Cleveland might be up in the air, getting Korver to sign for a few years is proof that it is not just giving up and allowing him to walk in 2018.
