A-Rod has an ‘A-Rodcade’ and we need to know which games are on it

Street Fighter II? Street Fighter III? What about Turtles in Time? We have to get to the bottom of this.

Here is Alex Rodriguez (“A-Rod”) meeting with business people for a business meeting regarding his business (“A-Rod Corp”). No big deal.

Everything looks to be in order, and ... waaaaaait a sec, ENHANCE.

A-Rod has an ... A-Rodcade?

What games are on this?

WHAT GAMES ARE ON THIS?

While our official inquiries have not been returned as of press time, we do have a couple of clues.

1. There is a trackball

This is important.

2. There are three visible joysticks, and I’m assuming there’s a fourth

Right, right, good. This helps.

3. Each joystick comes with what looks like a seven-button setup

Very important for fighting games. I think we can distill this information into a definitive list of what A-Rod has on his A-Rodcade.

  1. Golden Tee
  2. NBA Jam (with A-Rod as a playable character that has superior stats to Ken Griffey, Jr.’s playable character)
  3. NFL Blitz
  4. X-Men
  5. Baseball Stars 2
  6. Turtles in Time
  7. Time Crisis 2
  8. The Simpsons
  9. Golden Axe
  10. Street Fighter II
  11. 720º
  12. Dragon’s Lair
  13. Gauntlet
  14. Rampage
  15. Smash TV
  16. Samurai Showdown 2
  17. Metal Slug
  18. Sunset Riders
  19. Cadillacs and Dinosaurs
  20. Moonwalker (modded, with A-Rod instead of Michael Jackson)
  21. Jurassic Park
  22. King of Fighters ‘94
  23. King of Fighters ‘95
  24. King of Fighters ‘96
  25. King of Fighters ‘97
  26. King of Fighters ‘98
  27. King of Fighters ‘99
  28. King of Fighters 2000
  29. King of Fighters 2001
  30. King of Fighters 2002
  31. King of Fighters 2003
  32. King of Fighters XI
  33. King of Fighters XII
  34. King of Fighters XIV
  35. Dig Dug
  36. Wait, I’ll bet that’s nothing but a cabinet with 30 different versions of Dig Dug
  37. It’s nothing but Dig Dug
  38. Sorry, everyone
  39. [imagines A-Rod playing Dig Dug with a trackball]
  40. “Stupid thing’s broken. I can’t do anything in this game.”

There’s a chance — a small chance — that this isn’t the exact list of games on the A-Rodcade, but the important thing here is that the A-Rodcade exists, and there are definitely games on it.

Also, please note that I would like to play Golden Tee with A-Rod. If you could pass that along, it will help my efforts on this end. Thanks.
