After star point guard Chris Paul left Los Angeles via trade to the Houston Rockets, the Clippers addressed their need for a floor general by signing Serbian guard Milos Teodosic, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. The deal is worth $12.3 million over two years and includes a player option on Year 2.

Teodosic is revered as the best point guard outside of the United States. The 29-year-old averaged 16 points and almost seven assists per game last season, leading CSKA Moscow to four straight United League championships and a Euroleague championship in 2016.
Most notably, Teodosic shined in Olympic competition, scoring 18 points in a 2016 matchup between Serbia and Team USA. Like Timberwolves guard Ricky Rubio, Teodosic is best known for his creative, crafty passing ability.
Teodosic was named 2010 Euroleague Most Valuable Player, and 53 percent of general managers voted him the best international player not in the NBA. Last season, 29 percent of GMs voted for Dario Saric.
The Serbian guard joins a Los Angeles Clippers team that recently re-signed Blake Griffin to a five-year max deal and is expected to add Danilo Gallinari via sign-and-trade in the coming days. It will be fun watching the all-world passer dime his teammates in transition.
