The NBA unveiled the entire schedule for the 2017-18 regular season, and the reigning champion Golden State Warriors will play 43 nationally televised games on ESPN, TNT, NBA TV, or ABC. That means fewer than half of their games will be available for those who purchase an NBA League Pass subscription.
The Warriors are on national TV more often than they’re on League Pass
Golden State will play 43 games on national television in the 2017-18 season. If you’ve only got NBA League Pass, you’re out of luck.

Last season, the Warriors had 28 combined games airing on ESPN, TNT, or ABC. That number has increased to 31 this year.
After adding Kevin Durant to a core that won the most regular season games in NBA history, the Warriors won their second championship in three seasons, pummeling the Cleveland Cavaliers, 4-1, to lift the Larry O’Brien Trophy.
Golden State kept that core intact, re-signing Andre Iguodala, Shaun Livingston, Stephen Curry (by way of the first-ever supermax contract), and, lastly, Durant. They then added Omri Casspi and Nick Young this summer, and are poised to make a fourth consecutive NBA Finals appearance for a chance to repeat as NBA champions.
Of those games airing on national television, two stand out: Durant’s return to Oklahoma City against Russell Westbrook and his new sidekick, Paul George, on Nov. 22, and Golden State’s NBA Finals rematch against Cleveland on Christmas Day.
With its deep talent pool and tetrad of All-Stars, the Warriors are better than ever. That might not be good news, though, if NBA League Pass is your main source for watching hoops.
