LeBron James spoke out Tuesday against President Donald Trump’s defense of his original response to the weekend’s events in Charlottesville, Virginia, which left many injured and one dead.

The Cleveland Cavaliers star expressed his displeasure about the president’s recent comments regarding Charlottesville.


James expanded on his comments at a family foundation event later Tuesday night:
Over the weekend, James also tweeted about the white supremacist rally as it was happening, making a direct reference to the president’s “Make America Great Again” campaign slogan.
