2K Sports released the trailer for its highly anticipated, flagship videogame franchise, NBA 2K18, and the introductory video lived up to the hype.
8 reasons the ‘NBA 2K18’ trailer is so freakin’ good
They got Lonzo Ball’s form right, y’all. It’s lit.

The trailer featured NBA stars like Giannis Antetokounmpo, Stephen Curry, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, and Paul George, but also showed some up-and-comers like D’Angelo Russell, Lonzo Ball, and Malik Monk.
Here are a few things I learned watching the 2K18 trailer:
Damian Lillard will continue dunking on you
Minnesota’s jerseys are tough, but Jimmy Butler doesn’t look right without Chicago red
2K gets Lonzo Ball’s form and demeanor picture perfect during the line “I’m only 19 but my mind is older.”
Marquese Chriss is going to get a tech, whether you like it or not
Here’s what Paul George looks like in a Thunder jersey
There’s something odd about this exchange
They briefly showed Gordon Hayward in a Celtics jersey
James Harden, who is now NBA Live 18’s cover athlete, was not featured in NBA 2K18’s trailer. Neither were Kristaps Porzingis nor Carmelo Anthony.
All the more reason to pick up a copy of the game for yourself when it officially drops on Sept. 19.
