C.J. McCollum was driven to the airport by an entertainingly passionate NBA fan

Just listen to his driver go.

Portland Trail Blazers guard C.J. McCollum documented “one of the most entertaining drives [he’s] had in a long time” on his Instagram account, laughing through a ride as an ostensibly older driver picked his brain about basketball.

The driver appeared to talk about LaMarcus Aldridge on the Trail Blazers before he signed with San Antonio, Kevin Durant’s relationship with Russell Westbrook, the importance of family and getting three bottles of tequila from rapper Young Jeezy. He also gave C.J. a new line to use on the basketball court.

“If I tell you cheese and crackers on a move, get a napkin and wipe your f——— mouth.”

Everyone’s had that one cab driver that just wouldn’t shut up, but none have been as funny as McCollum’s driver. Cheers to all the Uber, Lyft, Sidecar, yellow cab and TLC drivers in the world out there working for tips by cracking jokes and having good conversation.
