How to stream Mayweather-McGregor fight live

There are plenty of options for streaming the Mayweather and McGregor fight on Saturday. Here’s how you can watch.

Watching Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor isn’t cheap, but there are plenty of options for catching the biggest boxing match of the year. The pay-per-view card is available on cable, satellite, mobile devices, personal computers, and everything in between if you’re willing to pay the $100 to watch it.

Saturday’s preliminary card will be broadcast on Fox beginning at 7 p.m. ET, and that broadcast will also be streamed live on Fox Sports GO. The pay-per-view main card begins at 9 p.m. and can be ordered via your satellite or cable provider to watch it on television.

For everything else, there are some options. CBS will make the fight available to stream on the Showtime app for iOS and Android devices as well as ShowtimePPV.com for web browsers and other devices. Live streaming can also be had via UFC.TV if you purchase the event directly from the UFC.

Mayweather is 49-0 as a boxer and has done everything he needs to do to go down as one of the greatest boxers of all time. His game is predicated on counter-punching and evasiveness, and as a technical boxer, he is so many more times better than McGregor that it’s humorous.

McGregor is one of the most talented mixed martial artists in the world and, of course, he’s great at promoting a fight. He shouldn’t be fighting Mayweather, probably, but he’s doing it anyway and with the lighter gloves for the bout, there’s always a chance. That chance — or a Mayweather stomping — is the reason people are expected to tune in.

Mayweather’s last two fights were unanimous decision wins over Manny Pacquiao — in the so-called “Fight of the Century” in 2015 — and Andre Berto later that year. He hasn’t had a knockout win since 2011, but many think his superior boxing to the comparatively inexperienced McGregor will lead to a stoppage.

The undercard is also fairly impressive, even if few people tuning in are hardcore boxing fans. The talented and undefeated Gervonta Davis will be taking on Francisco Fonseca in a junior lightweight contest in the co-feature. A fun light heavyweight bout between Nathan Cleverly and Badou Jack will be the second fight on the pay-per-view broadcast.

Said broadcast will open with undefeated cruiserweight Andrew Tabiti facing journeyman Steve Cunningham.

Below is the full fight card and all the viewing information you need to watch Saturday’s bout on TV and online.
