The Cowboys-Broncos game was delayed due to severe weather in the area, but the game eventually resumed just before 6 p.m. ET.
Cowboys vs. Broncos delayed due to severe weather
Weather west of Denver forced the game to be delayed near the end of the 1st quarter.

The delay came toward the end of the first quarter. The Broncos held a 7-0 lead, when it was announced that the game would be delayed at least 15 minutes to allow thunderstorms to pass.
From the FOX broadcast, this is what was in the area:
The odds of the game being entirely canceled were low. One, because the NFL does not like to cancel games, and two, because there’s just not a big enough threat (kinda like a hurricane).
The NFL’s rule on this states:
If, in the Commissioner’s opinion, it is reasonable to project that the resumption of an interrupted game would not change its ultimate result or adversely affect any other inter-team competitive issue, he is empowered to terminate the game.
Fortunately, we should get back to Cowboys-Broncos soon.
