The Minnesota Vikings aren’t having a whole lot go right for them on Sunday afternoon in Pittsburgh. They didn’t help themselves with a terrible fake punt attempt.
Vikings’ failed fake punt attempt was even worse due to this half-assed throw
Step into the throw and fire it in there, bud.

The Vikings made the attempt on a fourth-and-4 from their own 36. Punter Ryan Quigley made one of the most nonchalant passes you will ever see on an NFL field. He also took a mean hit.
The play failed and gave the Steelers great field position.
It probably wasn’t a great idea to try to go for it there in the first place, but the throw makes it comical. That was a very I’m Playing Catch With My Child In The Backyard throw by Quigley.
Luckily for the Vikings, the defense was able to hold the Steelers to just three on the ensuing drive, making it a 17-3 deficit for the Vikes.
