The Lynx are looking to tie the series at 1-1.

Because of Chelsea Gray’s game-winning jump shot, Los Angeles defeated Minnesota, 85-84, in Game 1. Minnesota was once down by 26, but it went on an offensive barrage to get back into the game. The fourth quarter was exciting, as both teams exchanged buckets, but Gray’s heroics sealed the deal for the Sparks. Gray scored a team-high 27 points for Los Angeles.
On the other hand, the Lynx’s Maya Moore amassed a team-high 27 points, and she connected on over 60 percent of her shots. The Lynx did a great job of battling back to keep Game 1 competitive. But if they want to creep back into the series, they must play better defense.
