Pretty Good, episode 13: Randall Cunningham Seizes the Means of Production

In 1987, Eagles coach Buddy Ryan and quarterback Randall Cunningham ran the most unsportsmanlike play in NFL history. The Cowboys totally deserved it.

Welcome to Episode 13 of Pretty Good, a show about stories that are pretty good. This is a video I’ve wanted to make for years. I originally intended it to be a five-minute episode of Chart Party, but the more I researched it, the more backstory I came across that I couldn’t bear not to include.

More episodes of Pretty Good:

222-0.

The story of the greatest clobbering in the history of American sports.

TROY STATE 253, DEVRY 141.

When two opposing teams team up, miracles happen. Also, yes, it’s that DeVry.

BARON DAVIS FROM 89 FEET.

Apparently my beat is just “giant sports numbers.” Eh, that’s fine.
