The Super Bowl is coming up! It’s the biggest sporting event every year, and watched by millions around the world. It’s become a social event in the United States, one where everybody believes the day after should be a national holiday.
Eagles DT Fletcher Cox claims he has never watched a Super Bowl in his life
That’s incredibly hard to believe.

Eagles defensive lineman Fletcher Cox was asked what his favorite Super Bowl moment was, and then shocked everybody:
Even if you don’t watch sports, you’ve had to have run into a Super Bowl. Growing up, it was a discussion almost like gathering for Thanksgiving or another holiday. “Where are we going to go to watch the Super Bowl?”
And why wouldn’t you, right? There’s hella food (if you’re doing it right) like pizza, wings, beer, whatever other snacks your heart desires, and you’re kicking it with people you like.
Plus, it’s the Super Bowl. I had a friend in high school who always said Armageddon was this incredible movie and couldn’t believe I had never seen it before. I don’t often go out of my way to watch movies, much like Cox apparently doesn’t go out of his way to watch sports. But I knew it was on FX or whatever at least once week.
And eventually after falling asleep on it a few times ... I saw it. I don’t have a very strong opinion about it.
What I’m saying is, if I saw Armageddon, Cox has watched a Super Bowl.
If Super Bowl LII is the first one he actually sees, that is really cool, though.
