NBA scores 2018: Kyrie Irving and Stephen Curry’s duel stole Saturday night

Curry and Irving combined for 86 points. Clear the court and let them go 1-on-1.

Kyrie Irving and Stephen Curry didn’t find themselves matched up with one another often when the Warriors and Celtics went head-to-head on Saturday night. But that didn’t stop either of the All-Star guards from putting on a show for fans at Oracle Arena.

Irving started off hot with 14 first-quarter points on a perfect 5-of-5 shooting. His baskets looked a lot like this:

But Curry eventually caught fire. In the third quarter, he nearly outscored the Celtics, 18-19, BY HIMSELF. Curry hit seven threes on 11 attempts by the end of the third period. Here are three of them, including a dagger in the fourth:

Curry and Irving combined for 86 points on 29-of-42 shooting. Let’s just scrap the All-Star Game and watch these two go 1-on-1 for 48 minutes.
