Kyrie Irving and Stephen Curry didn’t find themselves matched up with one another often when the Warriors and Celtics went head-to-head on Saturday night. But that didn’t stop either of the All-Star guards from putting on a show for fans at Oracle Arena.

Irving started off hot with 14 first-quarter points on a perfect 5-of-5 shooting. His baskets looked a lot like this:

But Curry eventually caught fire. In the third quarter, he nearly outscored the Celtics, 18-19, BY HIMSELF. Curry hit seven threes on 11 attempts by the end of the third period. Here are three of them, including a dagger in the fourth:
Curry and Irving combined for 86 points on 29-of-42 shooting. Let’s just scrap the All-Star Game and watch these two go 1-on-1 for 48 minutes.
Did Lou Williams get snubbed twice?
Paul George was named the All-Star replacement after DeMarcus Cousins’ season ended with an unfortunate torn Achilles tendon. That meant Lou Williams, who is enjoying an incredible season off the bench, was snubbed not once, but twice in one season.
