Tom Brady couldn’t answer any pop culture trivia at Super Bowl Opening Night

Apparently Tom Brady doesn’t fit much TV in his workout schedule.

Tom Brady isn’t a person who gets befuddled by NFL defenses, but he had no chance when he was faced with some pop culture trivia at Super Bowl 52 Opening Night.

The New England Patriots quarterback was given a stack of questions by the TV show Extra and all it did was reveal that Brady doesn’t take much time to worry about anything other than winning football games.

To recap:

  • Brady can’t name any actors recently nominated for Oscars, nor can he name the host.
  • He doesn’t know the name of the newest daughter of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian.
  • He can’t name any characters from HBO’s Game of Thrones.
  • He doesn’t know who starred in the movie The Longest Yard but does like Adam Sandler even though the actor is a New York Jets fan.
  • He doesn’t watch This Is Us and didn’t know it was the show on after the Super Bowl.
  • He did know the name of Danny Amendola’s girlfriend and that Aaron Rodgers is dating Danica Patrick. So at least he’s keeping up with the latest NFL relationship news.

Brady’s a five-time Super Bowl champion and may be days away from receiving his third NFL MVP award. So whatever he’s doing is working just fine and he’ll have plenty of time to get caught up with the pop culture world when he finally decides to hang up his cleats.
