UA has released a new Curry 5 colorway that’s inspired by the Warriors’ classic colors and uniform
And it’s available now on UA.com for $130.
The latest Curry 5, with the classic Warriors’ royal blue on the upper, also contains a hint of green on the bottom of the shoe and with the “SC” logo on the tongue. White runs through the shoe’s midsole.
“The Town” edition is the eighth colorway in the Curry 5 series. In the past, Under Armour has used major events featuring Stephen Curry to drop new colorways. Before last season’s NBA Finals, UA released two “Takeover” colorways - a white and black edition - that boasted gold accents, a nod to the Larry O’Brien trophy.
With the NBA loosening its color restrictions on shoes this season, we’ll surely be seeing a wide range of colorways and new shoe designs from the major shoe retailers. On Thursday, PUMA released its first basketball shoe in nearly twenty years with the Clyde Court Disrupt red blast colorway.
As the NBA season gets underway, we’ll keep you updated on all the latest shoe releases and launches.
