New York, New York is a Frank Sinatra classic. It’s also the Yankees’ victory song.
The Red Sox playing “New York, New York” after beating the Yankees was a power move
After defeating their biggest rivals in Yankee Stadium, Boston had some fun with their celebration. Now it’s a T-shirt.

So, in the spirit of beating their biggest rivals, and to enforce a bit of trolling, the Red Sox celebrated their ALDS series victory on Tuesday night by playing the famous Sinatra song in the locker room while dousing themselves with champagne.
That’s quite the power move, especially at Yankee Stadium.
With the ALDS series win in hand, the Red Sox are on to their next conquest as they go up against the Astros in the ALCS. However, that doesn’t mean Boston fans should quickly forget about beating their biggest rivals, especially since Aaron Judge kickstarted the trolling affair by playing the song as he walked out of Fenway Park after Game 2.
In fact, start spreading the news
The new T-shirt, featuring the Red Sox celebrating their ALDS victory at Yankee Stadium, has arrived. Sinatra (RIP) may not approve, but Red Sox fans certainly will.
And just in case you need some new Red Sox apparel right before the ALCS
You can never go wrong with a Sox sweatshirt, especially during an October playoff run.
The Red Sox will host the Houston Astros in Game 1 of the ALCS on Saturday night at 8:09 p.m. ET.
