The referees must have it out for the Cleveland Browns this season. In their game against the Los Angeles Chargers, the referees missed an obvious false start that should’ve erased a Philip Rivers touchdown pass.
Browns got screwed when the refs didn’t call a super obvious false start on the Chargers
Philip Rivers threw one of the easiest touchdowns of his life.

The Browns’ defensive linemen assumed the play was going to be blown dead and stopped rushing — giving Rivers a nice clean pocket to work with.
Rivers went on to throw a perfect 29-yard pass to Tyrell Williams for the score and a 21-6 lead. The missed call was so egregious, that the NFL edited the false start out of their video of the touchdown.
Just two weeks ago, the refs missed a strip sack on Derek Carr that helped the Raiders beat the Browns in overtime.
Maybe one day the refs will bless the Browns with unfair calls, but until then, all we can do is support Browns fans in this time of need.
