It’s been a long time coming, but Julio Jones has scored a touchdown in the 2018 NFL season.
Julio Jones scored a touchdown
It took him almost an entire calendar year, but he did it.

It seemed like a day that would never come, but in our nation’s capital against one of the most despicable franchises in the NFL, Jones was able to connect with Matt Ryan for the 35-yard score.
Look at greatness, y’all:
Jones came into the game with 53 receptions for 812 yards. He’s been having a good season minus the whole Not Scoring A Touchdown thing. He was behind only Adam Thielen in yards, who had 925 after starting this season off with at least 100 yards in each game.
It’s been a situation that fans couldn’t be too mad about, considering he has still been racking up the yards. Rookie Calvin Ridley has also filled the Jones touchdown void with six of his own going into Sunday’s game.
I know I took my own opportunities to laugh about it:
“It’s all about my teammates and being successful, at the end of the day,” Jones said. “I’ve had a lot of success by myself, but it’s not good when you can’t go and accomplish things as a team and have success as a team.”
While that is a good and nice stance to take, Week 9’s 38-14 rout of Washington is proof that the Falcons can win while he also scores a touchdown.
Everybody will remember where they were on November 4, 2018, when Quintorris Lopez Jones found the end zone.
