Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like the NBA is moving at light speed and I can’t keep up. Teams are scoring hundreds and hundreds of point a night. Non-all-stars like Jamal Murray are dropping 48 points a night, making stars like Kyrie Irving extremely mad. The Rockets are still ... terrible? And, oh dear God, the Bucks may be for real. The reckoning of Giannis is upon us.
So while the NBA is in overdrive only three weeks in, let’s slow it down and enjoy all of the little things that make us love this league. Let’s B-Sides.
It’s been four long years since we’ve seen LeBron James in a headband. Like all good things that leave us, they will return if we wait and they’re worth it. LeBron teased us earlier in the week by wearing a headband to practice and posting it on Instagram.
But when Wednesday rolled around? He was back.
Twitter knew exactly what that meant.
And they were right. He finished the night with 24 points, 11 rebounds, and nine assists.
And most importantly.
What a beautiful moment for the couple! Union opened up about her struggles with fertility, so this is amazing news for her and I’m so happy she gets this experience.
Look he’s just misunderstood, wants to feel loved, and win basketball games. And he clearly likes Tyus Jones more than anyone else in Minnesota.
“Havarti, American, asiago, marscapone, buffalo, smoked, Swiss, cream cheese, string cheese, cottage, brie, feta, goat, munster, colby jack, colby, pepperjack.”
Here is Jaden making Nikola Jokic look bad on defense.
And James got Kevin Durant’s shoe, which was bigger than his head.
I know we talk a lot about Russell Westbrook or James Harden but we need to collectively agree the guy with the best fashion in this league is PJ Tucker.
First off, it’s the shoes. No one has as many or a better collection of kicks than this guy.
And just the sheer amount is outstanding.
Plus can we just talk about his style as whole. It’s flawless.
He even pulls off casual better than the rest of us.
And if you want to hear more about Tucker’s stylist, check this out:
I’m such a sucker for nostalgia and these are just absolutely beautiful.
I also really appreciate the Jazz going retro with their TV graphics as well. All-around good stuff.
Hang it in the Louvre! This is some renaissance art.

Kuzma doesn’t have anywhere near Tucker’s style — in fact, sometimes his style is awful — but he at least knows to honor Lakers legends. Last year, he did the same thing with Nick Van Exel.
JAMES HARDEN BACK! The Rockets are still bad, so this segment is less fun, but I stand by the fact no one takes better pictures than this guy.
See ya next week, friends. Tweet me your B-Sides, and I’ll include them in the next round.
