Bad news first: American favorite Mikaela Shiffrin has withdrawn from the women’s super-G and abandoned her attempt at five golds due to high winds causing havoc to the Alpine schedule. The good news: Lindsey Vonn is still in the competition and making her Winter Olympics debut.

You can watch selected runs during NBC’s prime-time coverage (live stream), which begins at 8 p.m. or the entire competition via NBCOlympics.com’s full event coverage (live stream). The finals are expected to be held at 9 p.m.

Vonn is the all-time winningest Alpine skier with 81 victories. Although it’s not her best sport, the 33-year-old Vonn has already picked up a win in the super-G this winter in FIS competition in December. Winning a medal at the Pyeongchang Games would make her the oldest woman to medal in Olympic super-G competition. She won a bronze in the event in 2010 in Vancouver but missed the 2014 games in Sochi due to injury.

She’ll be dedicating her Olympics to her grandfather, who passed away in November:

Austrian skiers should be considered the real favorites, though. The nation has won four of the last eight women’s super-G races at the Olympics, and a victory in this year’s games would make a fourth consecutive win. Austria’s best hope there is Anna Veith, defending Olympic champion in the event. However, fellow Austrian Nicole Schmidhover is probably her toughest competition. She’s the reigning world champion in the event.
