He skates and he knows things.

German figure skater Paul Fentz did his thing like only Jon Snow could in Pyeongchang.

That’s Fentz skating to the theme from the HBO show Game Of Thrones.

Fentz is also no stranger to music that’s a little off the beaten path for a figure skating performance. He’s skated to jazzed-up version of Wonderwall at the European Championships.

Fentz took advantage of a relatively new rule in Olympic figure skating to pull that off.

After the 2014 Sochi Games, the International Skating Union officially allowed ladies, mens and pairs skaters to compete to music with lyrics. This means Pyeongchang will be the first Olympics in which, alongside the usual dosages of Swan Lake, you will also be treated to the music of British pop star Ed Sheeran and a truly bizarre big band cover of Oasis’ “Wonderwall.”

He has thrown down this Game Of Thrones routine before as well.

Winter may be coming, but it’s clear Fentz is ready to skate all over it.
