Larry Nance Jr. brought out his dad’s uniform for his first dunk during the NBA dunk contest. Nance’s father played for the Suns from 1981-1988, where he won the dunk contest in 1984.

Nance came out in in his Cavaliers team jacket and pants, but did a quick change into his dad’s attire:

Nance Jr. was traded to the Cavaliers before the trade deadline this season after spending the firs two and a half years of his career with the Lakers.
It’s only appropriate that when he plays for one of his dad’s old teams that he pays homage to him in the NBA dunk contest. Nance got a 44/50 for the dunk. It didn’t shake the arena, but the presentation was nice.
