Olympic hockey 2018 schedule: Times, TV channels, and live stream info for Monday, Feb. 19

Monday evening is the first of potentially four Olympic elimination games for Team USA in its quest for a medal in the men’s hockey tournament. The United States will play Slovakia in the men’s playoff at 10:10 p.m. ET on NBCSN. The event also will be streamed live on NBC’s Olympics website.

It’s win or go home for Team USA, as a victory over Slovakia will have the team advancing to the quarterfinals in the 2018 Winter Olympics. The United States had a massive disappointment to the end of its preliminaries, losing 5-0 to the Russians to close out the round with just one win. That lone victory came against Slovakia, who the U.S. will face in the qualification playoff, after Ryan Donato scored both Team USA goals in a 2-1 victory.

The Americans failed to advance to a quarterfinal bye thanks to a pair of losses to Slovenia to open the tournament and then one to the Russians to cap off the preliminaries.

Before Team USA takes the stage, the Canadian women’s hockey team will play in its semifinal match against the Olympic Athletes from Russia at 7:10 a.m. ET. A trip to the gold medal match is on the line for the Canadians as they attempt to defend their gold for the fifth straight time. The Canadians went 3-0 in the preliminary tournament, coasting to another semifinal berth.

Capping off the day is the women’s seventh-place game between Sweden and Korea to determine seeding for the bottom of the bracket. That game will be streamed live on NBC’s Olympics website at 10:10 p.m. ET.
