USA vs. Canada 2018 live stream: Time, TV channel, and how to watch women’s hockey gold medal game online

The big night we’ve all been waiting for is finally here as Team USA faces Canada in the 2018 Olympic women’s gold medal game at 11:10 p.m. ET Wednesday. The stakes will be as high as ever for what’s become one of the fiercest rivalries in all of international sports.

It’s impossible to go into this game without thinking of what happened four years ago in Sochi. The Americans were on the cusp of winning their first Olympic gold since 1998 when Canada pulled off a miraculous last-minute comeback buoyed by a U.S. shot that hit the post in the waning moments.

That game was as close and as thrilling as could be, and after four years of stewing on it, the Americans will surely come out firing Wednesday. The United States dominated its semifinal game against Noora Raty and Finland with a 5-0 win. They totally overwhelmed the Finns en route to a 38-14 advantage in shots on goal. Canada was similarly stellar in a 5-0 beatdown over Olympic Athletes from Russia that booked its spot in the final.

USA-Canada games are always awesome, and on Wednesday night, the stakes couldn’t be higher. Canada has won the last four Olympic golds since USA’s triumph 20 years ago. We’ll see if the Americans can finally end that run and earn Olympic glory in Pyeongchang.
