The Bulls lost in the worst way to the 76ers and then got trolled by Nikola Mirotic

This really hurts to watch.

Poor Bulls. They just can’t catch a break. They lost in maybe the worst way ever to the 76ers on Thursday night.

The 76ers got a quick stop and J.J Redick hit two free throws after the Bulls elected to foul Redick instead of allowing him to get a 3-pointer off. Sounds smart, right?

Well, it didn’t work out the way the Bulls thought it would. Chicago called timeout and advanced the ball into the front court. All they had to do was get the ball in. Easy, right?

WRONG.

The Sixers got the steal, and then 56 percent free throw shooter Ben Simmons drained both of his free throws to put the Sixers up 116-115.

This is exactly why coaches are scared to foul when they’re up three points. Things like this can happen.

But wait, it wasn’t over. Bobby Portis missed a game winning layup after scoring a career high 38 points off the bench. And the Bulls also had 17,000 opportunities to tip the ball in.

And then Nikola Mirotic trolled them from the other side of the country.

Mirotic was sent to the Pelicans from the Bulls earlier in February after he demanded a trade earlier this season. He and Portis got into an altercation during the first practice of the season where Portis punched Mirotic in the face and injured him for nearly two months.

This has seriously got to be the most excruciating loss of the season so far Chicago. I know the Bulls are bad, but man. No one deserves this.

I’d say they might bounce back at some point, but look, we all know better. Just try and find some peace somewhere, Bulls fans.
