Kelly Oubre Jr. sneakily untied Rodney Hood’s shoe in the middle of a game

This is hilarious, y’all.

Kelly Oubre Jr. continues to be one of the most fun players in the NBA. He scored 17 points off the bench and made three 3-pointers in a win over the Cavaliers on Thursday night, but that’s not even close to his biggest contribution in the game.

Apparently, in the middle of the game with the ball coming up the floor, Oubre untied Rodney Hood’s shoe.

Seriously. And then, after the game, he admitted that he did it. Because obviously he did it.

And he admitted to doing it with a shiny grill in his mouth, so clearly he did no wrong here. But that also assumes Oubre can do wrong, which he can’t — obviously. This is so good.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen a player untying someone else’s shoes. J.R. Smith, who also does no wrong, was outed as a serial shoe untier four years ago when he was still with the Knicks. First he got Shawn Marion.

Then he got Dwight Howard.

Then he got a fine for continuously untying shoes, which might be the most JR Smith thing ever. I’m pretty sure that’s the first time a player has been fined for that — mostly because we hadn’t seen it before.

Now Oubre is taking a page out of Smith’s book and it’s just as funny as it was four years ago.
