After a fun fortnight in Pyeongchang it’s time to close up shop at the 2018 Winter Olympics. On Sunday (Monday in South Korea) we are left with one more medal event then the closing ceremonies, and American skier Jesse Diggins figures prominently in both.

The cross-country skier has already provided one of the most indelible moments of these Olympics with her mad dash toward the finish to win the team sprint gold medal. She has one more event left, the 30km mass start on early Sunday morning back in the states (12:15 a.m. ET, NBCSN). The 26-year-old Diggins finished 40th in this event in the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.

Norway swept the medial podium in Sochi in the 30k, and Marit Bjorgen is back in Pyeongchang to defend her gold medal.

The closing ceremonies also take place on Sunday night, with NBC showing the event tape-delayed at 7 p.m. ET. Diggins was chosen to carry the U.S. flag during the closing ceremonies, per the Associated Press:

“This is such an incredible honor for me,” Diggins said. “I’m really humbled and moved that the athletes voted for me. It’s so inspiring to feel the support and cheering from everyone. The coolest thing for me about the games has been getting to meet other athletes on Team USA, and getting to cheer them on at their events and learn about what they do. I have so much respect and admiration for everybody here and am beyond honored to be able to lead us out of these games.”
