Tom Brady and Patriots teammates show support for Malcolm Butler

Butler spoke about the Super Bowl, and his teammates rallied around him.

Malcolm Butler released a statement on Tuesday afternoon regarding his benching in the PatriotsSuper Bowl 52 loss to the Eagles.

Butler posted the message on Twitter and Instagram — and current and former Patriots players rallied around Butler by liking the post, including Tom Brady.

Here was Butler’s statement:

Brady liked the post and also posted the following comment on the post.

Other Patriots, current and former, liked the post.

Along with Brady, LeGarrette Blount, Brandon Browner, and a host of other current and former Patriots showed their support for Butler:

Butler’s situation will still be something to watch in the coming days. He never says what happened and doesn’t say whether he’s going back to New England.

But for now, it appears that his teammates are on his side of whatever the situation is.
