Freestyle skiing is one of the most fascinating competitions in the Winter Olympics. There are so many variations of freestyle skiing, but the ski cross competition is the discipline you should keep an eye on.

This sport is so cool because it tests the skiers’ agility, balance, and coordination. This discipline will also put their speed to the test. Ski cross is an aggressive sport. And like the other events in the Winter Olympics, it’s also highly competitive.

McRae Williams, a U.S. Olympic team member who captured a world championship in 2017, told the Olympic Games’ official website that “it’s great to watch when there are several people in there.

“It gets pretty aggressive when riders are pushing themselves around trying to fight to the finish. I enjoy that more than Alpine racing. Obviously, Alpine racers are going insanely fast, but ski cross has more variables to it, which is fun on the spectator sides of things.”

You can watch the men’s ski sross competition on Feb. 21 at 9:30 p.m. ET. The women’s ski cross competition is scheduled for 9:30 p.m. on Feb. 23. NBC (live stream) will broadcast all the action live from Pyeongchang.
