Sure, the Winter Olympics got underway on Thursday. But on Friday, Pyeongchang, South Korea, officially introduced the 2018 edition of the games with the opening ceremony. NBC will broadcast the opening ceremony at 8 p.m. ET, 14 or so hours after they actually began. From a television standpoint, that’s the only event you’ll have an opportunity to watch.

During the parade, North Korea and South Korea marched together while representing the same flag. Both countries will also compete on the same team.
If you’d rather watch live coverage of games, NBCOlympics.com will show curling, snowboarding, and Alpine skiing beginning at 7 p.m. In mixed doubles curling, Matt and Becca Hamilton will face China as round-robin play continues at 7. Snowboard slopestyle will feature qualifying round action at 8 p.m. You can also tune in as training for Alpine skiing is shown at 9 p.m.
