It was a simple play call: give LeBron James the ball. And James, with the ball, hit the game-winning three-pointer in Game 5 to give the Cleveland Cavaliers a 98-95 over the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday.
LeBron James’ game-winning 3 capped yet another superhuman performance
James is incredible, and this shot was exactly that.

Of course. Did you expect anything else?
One play before, James had recorded a game-saving block against Victor Oladipo. (It might have been a goaltend, but James’ shot would have won the game regardless.) Throughout the game, he had provided nearly everything for the Cavaliers, finishing with 44 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists. With the game tied and Cleveland just needing one shot to win it, James did just that.
Here’s how it looked in the building, in one image.
The Cavaliers now lead 3-2 in their first round series against the Pacers, and they wouldn’t be here without James.
